The history of Młyńczyska and their watermill has not been entirely discovered yet and, probably, there are still many mysteries behind it. The village had been founded by prince Radziwiłł and, due to a favourable location - close to the river, a watermill was built in here. Later, the place changed its owners a few times - Jews used to live here, Americans were running a business, not to mention all the others who somehow marked their presence in the history of Młyńczyska.
The three-level construction used to be propelled by a water turbine and on each level there were devices for corn grinding. Now, the mill on the Młynówka River serves as a museum. After entering the building, you see large, wooden statues - Noah and his wife. There are also bunches of dried herbs hanging on the walls, each of them with a description of its remedial properties – they can all be found in the Ponidzie area (the Nida Riverside). Further, you see the Świętokrzyskie coat of arms made of pea, poppy and corn seeds. Moreover, you can find an original treadmill with a threshing machine, a winnower, historic farm equipment and many other untypical objects, like an old wooden toilet, brought here from the attic of a tenement house in Cracow. Nearby the watermill, there are several fish-breeding ponds and a 20th-century Old-Polish Manor-House (an agricultural site in Old-Polish style).
