In the Ethnographic Park of Tokarnia near Kielce you can see an exhibition, entitled “The Old Kielce Manorial and Countryside Horse-drawn Vehicles,” which is a part of the collection of Jan Wzorek from Krajno. There are about 40 authentic vehicles, such as wasąg or czortopchajka (types of open-top carriages), as well as, farm carts and elegant coaches from 1900-1939. It is worth noting here that in the past a horse and a carriage used to be the indicators of material status for members of all social strata – peasants, townsmen and nobility. Therefore, the history of each museum piece is a tale about life, labour, feasting and entertainment of the Świętokrzyskie region citizens in the early-20th C.
